A blast from the past - good old T.V. shows I love
It was wonderful to watch once again a show that I loved as a child in the 1950's....even though the first time I saw the show "Private Secretary", it was already in syndication (circa 1958), and the title was changed to "Susie". The star, Ann Sothern, was still a beautiful woman at that time, she and her fellow actors, (Don Porter, Ann Tyrell, and Jesse White) all did a fine job at situation comedy, and the stories were wholesome and funny, all in "clean" humor. The main problem with this set of recordings (rating "good" instead of "excellent", was the poor quality of the film prints used to make the DVD...The sound quality was poor, the dialog was frequently "out of sync" like a an old movie, the beginning and ending credits were all fuzzy with poor sound as well, and, unfortunately, almost the entire set of shows on the DVD's were taken from the 1956 season only...only a couple of earlier ones were shown (the show was on for five years)... All in all, I enjoyed them greatly, and remember, this is the type of DVD you can't rent...Video dealers, especially the chain stores don't carry such esoteric items...you have to buy these. Thank goodness for EBAY, and the great dealers who sell these inexpensively. Get you copy now!
    Lubriplate LBR-S - Multi-Purpose Grease for Gate or Garage Door Openers - 1 3/4
    22 December 2016
Excellent light grease for many purposes
A high quality light grease that does not dry up, and contains no chemicals that damage plastic parts. I use this grease for lubricating metal and plastic gears in vintage electric clocks, as well as using it to lubricate pivot points in motorized mechanisms with moving parts. Recommended!
    Enoch Light/Terry Sn - Persuasive Percussion 1 2 & 3 [New Vinyl LP]

    A true classic: must hear!
These three Persuasive Percussion albums were recorded 57 to 58 years ago, using the best recording techiniques (and musicians) available at the time. These two LP's are re-mastered with Direct Metal Mastering on 180 gram vinyl, and still have the great sound of the original albums and 4-track reel to reel tape recordings from 1959 and 1960. The music? All top (and now classic) hits from the 1940's and 1950's. These albums have been released and re-released in many countries many times over the years, so this music still has wide appeal.
