Other words: it still SONY, and like samurai's katana never gets older!
For that money it's very good choice, Despite it needs battery replace (however an old one supports 2000 leafthrough)
-features not so modern, no wi fi, no touch screen. But with new or custom firmwares it can support some other advanced features.
- navigation with buttons is very comfortable.
- using 2 memory cards you can expand memory up to 10 gb, or 1000 realy realy big books (about 2500 pages per each)
- embedded mp3 player with an excellent sound is very rare and useful feature
- allu case makes it almost unbreakable and durable

IT WORKS
I can't say about durability, but i use it occasionally for last 4 years, very rarely but need to say- ALL WORKS GOOD. The only one TRICK is - you need to insert cards up side down to the large slot
