19 BENCH SWAGER ROTARY METAL TOOL JENNY BEAD ROLLER outil Werkzeug

Decent hobby swager
I like this piece of kit, I made my own English wheel but this I could not fault on price. Take some time to learn use as it is not as "easy" as it seems, I now understand why the professionals have a motor powered one, it gives you two hands to control job. I found spacers well made but not enough variation for all my needs. The die spacing adjustments is fine but I wish the lateral movement was more. Controlling the job is the key, good results are difficult to get unless you are VERY careful positioning the job holding with one hand whilst turning the handle with the other. Having an assistant to turn handle whilst you use two in the job is far easier.

Only 3mm cutter to use on aluminium
If you want to cut aluminium then you dont need a 4 flute cutter, you need one of these. The only cutter I use now at this size in alloy

Tough and Simple but strong arms required
Bought it after seeing it on Youtube
Simple by design, tough by manufacture, easy to operate if you have the strength
I tried 1/2" pipe and that is fine
I tried 3/4" pipe and that is fine but requires some strength
I tried 1" thick walled pipe and sinple handed no chance at all, two handed no give, seems for 1" I need a longer extension, maybe more than I have room for in my workshop, and maybe two people.
I guess I need 6 ft scaffolding pole
At 1" pipe be very sure you can hold it as the turning force will stop the earth spinning.
Photos show 3/4" pipe with little flattening
All tubes are bent this radius, no choice, but crush control is good
Very happy with purchase
