My Favorite Timer

I bought this as an additional timer. The appearance has been slightly updated from an earlier same model as it has slightly smaller display and a more squared appearance. Also, the beeping isn't nearly as loud but usable. Still it's a favorite for mine.

Comcast DTA HDMI to Slingbox 500

Pretty simple, I plugged the HDMI from the DTA to the adapter and component cable to the Slingbox. The adapter was powered by the HDMI and that was it. So it has been use for about a month and is working perfectly. Maybe not for other implementations but for this it was the perfect solution. Also, the best solution for the Slingbox 500 is component video, however, the newer X1 boxes from Comcast no longer has a component input so this setup works great.
