Worth the price

I was a little reluctant to purchase a "specialty instrument" at such an affordable price-my experience has been that you get what you pay for with instruments. This one is pretty good, however, and I'm glad I took a chance on it. It has a nice tone and stays in tune (which was a concern). There are a couple of downsides-which I was aware of prior to purchasing. The necks are just a bit too close together, and playing the bass in the first position is difficult, as the back of your fretting hand rubs against the guitar tuber knobs. The action on the bass is very high (but should be a relatively easy fix). As it is a new instrument, it would have been nice to have some kind of manual, which I did not receive. The six knobs can be a little confusing, and having one output means running the guitar through my bass amp. All that being said, I'm happy with this product and have found that it is more than capable of serving its purpose.
