Cracker
2 of 2 found this helpful The American version of the British TV Series, "Cracker" is a damn good #2. There's no way, of course, that the production standards or the acting measure up tp the British item with the mighty Robbie Coltrane. Nevetheless, the U.S. version still crackles with much of the same dark exuberance as the original British version. Robert Pastorelli does a darn good interpretation of the wounded Fitz, who solves difficult cases in spite of being so riddled with demons.
The British seem to have this gloomy self-distruction down cold with Cracker and with the terrific "Prime Suspect". We just cannot seem to get that down, or dont In any case, the U.S. Cracker series seems to have lasted one season while the Brits brought back their Cracker time and again.

Hip sox!
These sox are really outrageous. The quality is good enough but the colors and patterns are really zippy. I'm constantly by-passing the fuddy-duddy sox in my drawers that I used to wear for these. I'm sure that there is cotton in the blend but at 76, I just don't give a rat's banana. I go out the door with these hipster sox on and it makes me feel good. At first my fiancé just shook her head, but at least she'll let me wash them. That's a good sign, right?

While this is a lot of book; it's way too much money for the product. It's also way too focussed on Glenn Bray.
