Great value for money ball joints can be very loose
These struts fit easily and do the job of holding up the bonnet much better than a stick. Compared to genuine Nissan they are incredibly good value. As supplied the power of the struts are perfect, when you release the safety catch the bonnet raises up quickly at first then slows dramatically as it approaches fully open, which is ideal. The only negative was one of the ball joints (which are of an inferior design) had excessive tolerance "slop"). It has enough play to rattle while opening and closing but doesn't rattle when closed because it is under load from the struts pressure. The only thing left is how long they stay operational. Great value for money, ball joints should be better.
