Hysterically funny
Jodi Taylor has a dry observational wit that gives the Chronicles of St Mary's books a content that at times is hysterically funny - I have had lots of laugh out loud moments and moments where I have had tears pouring down my face. A great cast of characters and an unusual new take on time travel (sorry as fans will know it's "historical observations in contemporary time" - they're not allowed to call it time travel!). A must read book that will appeal to most peoples sense of humour - you'll want to go back for more.
