Canon EOS 10D- A Lot of Camera for Not a Lot of Money!
1 of 1 found this helpful The Canon EOS 10D is an ageing workhorse. Ruggedly built, with a great build quality, This simple-to-use digital SLR takes full advantage of the EF line of Canon lenses and has enough useful features to keep any amateur photog happy. Its 6.3 megapixel sensor, now dwarfed by the 20+ megapixels seen today, is perfectly adequate for most enlargements. Just be aware that, due to the small physical size of the sensor, lenses will be somewhat "longer" than you might expect from your 35mm experience.
Its somewhat limited feature set, compared to the newer Canon offerings, makes it easy to master digital photography and build competance (and confidence) relatively cheaply. 10Ds can be found on eBay for $200 or less- a true bargain! I have quite a few cameras, both 35mm and digital, and my favorites of them all are my 10 Ds.

The Little Dongle with Big Performan!ce!
This little guy does what it's supposed to do. Nearly instant setup, and then, forget about it always does its job and never gets in the way- I say "Buy it and forget about connectivity problems!" It's a no-brainer!

A Nice, Cheap Lens
This is a well-made, smooth-operating lens. The use of the hood is essential if the lighting is anywhere forward of the beam, as flare and contrast loss can be an issue. That notwithstanding, this is a good user lense that is sharp and contrasty under the right lighting conditions.
