wouldn´t give the booker prize
0 of 1 found this helpful reading Amsterdam was more just to get on and finish...I was waiting all the time for something to happen but it seemed to me more a discription of the two maincharacters, than a captivating story, though I loved the ending. No, seriously most of the book I was so bored but when I finished I really thought it was worth reading, it was absoulutely my taste. Before I actually started reading, I was hoping for something more spectacular, maybe Molly´s part should be more involved, but still I just can´t understand why it won the Booker Prize. I didn´t like the language and the author´s style but I am impressed by the main idea and definetely don´t repent reading it, even though it was for a school presentation...(Sacré-Coeur)
