Great product

quality product
following the directions it works well as you hold your wrist out from your body about 12" so you can easily read the monitor. The orange light will turn to blue where you need to remain calm, without speaking, and sitting upright. This monitor is extremely accurate.

Inferno performance
Right out of the box you can tell it's of good quality. I used my infrared heat gun to find the highest temperature on the insert. Turns out a few inches left or right makes a big difference.
If I had advice for those who don't have a good device to find this temperature spot on YOUR woodstove, I would say to mount it to slightly to the left of center on the top of the stove.
