Built to Spill : There's Nothing Wrong with Love Alternative Rock 1 Disc CD
26 May 2021
Built to Satisfy
I would rank "There's Nothing Wrong..." as the groups third best offering (behind "Keep It..." and Perfect from Now On") That being said, Built to Spill is easily a Top 20 group in my collection and all three albums are excellent choices. These three are in the Top 1000 albums of all time as rated by "Best Ever Albums" (an excellent rating service resource for all genres of music). What stands out for me about these three offerings is that there is no fluff in any and the best tracks will all stick with you for a long time.
Gimme Fiction - Audio CD By SPOON - VERY GOOD

Spoon's Consistency
Very consistent with Spoon's catalog of albums. Hard to fine anything but quality tracks - per usual! Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, They Want My Soul, Kill the Moonlight and Gimme Fiction are all ranked in the top 2000 albums of "all time" by Best Ever Albums!
TV on the Radio : Dear Science Alternative Rock 1 Disc CD

A Step Beyond My Expectations
Return to Cookie Mountain was my first exposure to TV on the Radio and it was a truly excellent experience. That being said, their follow-up "Dear Science" is even better. Same hip-hoppy roots but with some real surprises that will catch you off guard. To me, the "Family Tree" track is a classic and one of the finer true love songs ever penned and put to music. If Return to Cookie Mountain moved you, you will not be disappointed in "Dear Science"!
