A cracking good story

Martin Walker knows the area and his subject well. No vague hint of history of the region/country he involves you in the full effect as well as telling a cracking good story. One of the darker episodes in France's history but told in an brilliant way, in the backdrop of small town comings and goings and intrigue. He always manages to get at least one recipe in his books including his beloved truffles!

Sturdy and well made

I was frankly a little sceptical that it would do the job as previous packs have not worked that well. It has been in the car now for a few days and I have not seen any steamed windows which have been a feature since the colder and damp weather kicked in. So I am cautiously optimistic that this pack will really do the job. Not having had it long I cannot attest to the drying out of the pack in the microwave but I can say that it is sturdy and well made.
