Polk TSX series were nice upgrade from e...
Polk TSX series were nice upgrade from earlier RTi series, just as solid in design and performance. I especially like the appreciated the curved design of the enclosure, which many a speaker enthusiast claims improves on reducing inner soundwave reverbs, whatever...looks cooler. The black colored speakers look nice but it's hard to find the even better-looking, IMHO, cherry version of the TSX220s.

Famous Yamaha Sound comes thru clearly with RXV2090
Unit has nicely defined layout. I really like the ability to close the lower panel for the rarely used controls/connections. Gives the unit a cleaner appearance, not too cluttered.
This is an older unit, so not any digital connections, but it does have higher grade S-video and component.
Unit comes usually with 2 remote controls for other-room use. Hard to come by features like this nowadays at good Ebay prices, even for more current models.
All in all, I am enjoying a nice sound from my existing CD storage unit, as well as video connection. As other reviews and critics have noticed, the Yamaha unit offers less listening-fatigue, perhaps because there's actually less questionable and irritable moments in the sounds from dissonance or distortions.
