FASCINATING LIFE OF AN MIDCENTURY ARTIST
In the era of the "Big Eyes" painters, that started this style of painting from Paris, before its popular arrival in America, is this important midcentury artist, Roger Etienne (Also Roger Everaert). He has a fascinating life of interest, survival during war torn Europe... and his arrival in post war Hollywood. Artist 1st and then long time professional actor for Tv and movies. Etienne traveled back and forth from Paris and Los Angeles, and lived a long life of an artist bisecting old world and modern Hollywood cultures. Book is worth the read. This is written by an artist and art collector, Daniel Vancas, creator of "Vancas Girls" - Vanguard Gallery, Carmel, Ca.
