It works, for now...
0 of 1 found this helpful The good: It works! Looks better than the standard PS4 one. Relatively cheap.
The not so good: The contacts need to align perfectly, so a little off and it won't work.
The bad: Mine came with a dongle with the contacts seated too deep so it won't make contact with the pins on the charger. Had to open it up and put a small piece of paper in it to force it forward. It also came with a pin missing but luckily I found it inside the box. Nothing a pair of pliers can't fix.
Was worried about all the plugging in and unplugging that might damage the controller's usb port so I opted for this.
It comes with two small neglegiable dongles that plugs into the mini usb port at the back of the controller. Sit the controller in it's position on the charger and it will charge. No power outlet adaptor but I got a few lying around. You can also just use the PS4's usb port.
All in all, good concept. The build quality is really questionable though. Would be lucky if it lasts 6 months...
Hope you get a better set. Have some small tools handy if you do buy it, just in case :)
Recommended for those that are willing to experiment only.

Trumps Android Wear!
This is much better than the Android Wear watches that are out there. I say this having come from the LG G Watch. The interface is smoother, sleeker and the rotating bezel compliments the user interface perfectly. Best of all, battery life is great even with the always on screen. I am sure OLED is the main reasons.
Android Wear requires continuous swiping and the interface feels sluggish and ugly compared to the S2. But it does have the backup of the abundance of apps, that is if any are of use though...
Even with the limited app support on Tizen, the S2 is by far the best wearable out there at the moment. It's got all the apps that I would need so more is not always better in that sense.
Ebay have lots of these on sale mainly because of carrier give these away as an incentive for the high end Galaxy phones so grab one if you see a good deal!
