    High standard maintained
Another excellent book by Ross Laird, this one provides a very readable history of the start of recorded music in Australia.

Smart addition to the wall of my study.
Good but not great large scale copy of the photo, which I believe was first published in Esquire magazine and may never have been intended to be reproduced in such a large size.

    Superb Harmony and Great Sound
The Four Freshmen are out of style nowadays. Their well-produced harmonies are too slick for the doo-wop audience and too old-fashioned for Jazz fans. These two albums on one CD are The Four Freshmen at their peak with the great quality sound of the Capitol tower studios. It's no wonder the Beach Boys imitated them.
