Meprolite ar 15 peep sights

I bought these and was a bit sceptical as they were much cheaper than te trusty trijicon night sights I have on my 1911. Shipping was pleasantly quick and the installation was relatively simple as well. The performance is amazingly good for the price I can very easily see the front sight in low to no light conditions . the rear sights remain a bit blurry but provide ample enough illumination to be able to place your shots in a silhouette target with little effort even with both eyes open . if I would change anything I would slightly enlarge the dots on the rear sight , and engrave the hash marks on the rear sight just to make it easier to find your original sight settings . but all and all a very good product for the price and I fully intend to put them on all my ar platforms. I would suggest these to anyone who struggles with their stock sights in failing to no light conditions..

Will not fit 1911 with tactical rail

I would like it a whole lot better if it would fit the 1911 with a tactical rail on the bottom it's real close but no banana.
