Beautiful, but flawed.
0 of 2 found this helpful Well made. Heavy watch. Love the looks and the quality. MSRP is listed near $2,300. I can't imagine anyone ever paid that for one. I found mine for $425. I wouldn't pay more than that for one.
Cons are minor. The large "second" hand is only for the stopwatch. The actual second hand is the far left small dial. Hard to see, if that is important to you. I just like my watch to look like the dashboard of a car. I don't really care what the dials do. Just being honest.
The bracelet links are large. I had two removed, which makes the band just slightly too small. Adding one link back will un-center the clasp on the underside of my wrist, but I will probably do that. I wish there were half links, or micro adjustments on the clasp for size.
If you have a large wrist, I believe this Watch will fit fine. I think a gorilla could probably wear this watch out of the box. I'm 6'2" and could slip the watch off my wrist without opening the clasp, before the two links were removed.
Read the instruction manual. This is an automatic watch. No battery. When you first get it, you will need to WIND IT BY HAND or it will stop running. I wound it for seven minutes straight, and I could have kept going. You will need to wear it regularly, and perhaps wind it every few days for awhile, until your daily body movement keeps the spring wound tight enough to keep the watch going without manually winding it.
Overall I am happy with the purchase. If you want a heavy, chunky chronometer and the style appeals to you, find a good deal and pull the trigger.
