I'm in the pink!
I have to point out that I mainly just use my mobile for odd calls, texts and photos. I don’t spend even £10-worth a month. But I carry it everywhere with me, dumped in my bag.
What I like -
1. It is tough. My present Samsung U900 was a contract phone passed on by my son 9 months ago. I chucked it over to my Granddaughter so she could remove her personal stuff, she missed, it ended up on the floor in three pieces. But no problems.
2. The little touch screen. You can have whichever 4 short-cuts you want on it.
3. The design - sliding mechanism, large clear screen which you can personalise..
4. The colour – my first was boring grey. This one is a gentle silvery pink.
5. You can download ringtones and music to use as tones
6. Large memory card potential. Plenty of room for your music, ringtones, wallpapers and photos
7. Variable touch sensitivity. But not variable on the contract phone
8. You can design your own themes. I like playing around with them.
9. Good scratch-resistant screens, even with time & lack of special care
10.It has actually been fun playing with the phone!
What I don’t like
1. The “space bar” is the hash button, not the 0 button as on all my previous phones
2. Touch screen rather too responsive on a contract phone, but not this one
3. Easy to press the wrong button and send texts before you want to.
4. Rubbishy demo games and you have to download if you want more
5. There are 3 OK themes but none you can download. Not very important
6. When you change a theme you have to reinstate your wallpaper and tones
7. I’d like a choice of icons for making my own themes. Not important!
Why did I buy this phone?
I tried one or two others new. But couldn't afford the level of features, and don't want to go on Contract. Better the devil you know - this is a replacement for my existing U900.
It took me a while to get used to the Samsung when I first had it. But when its camera failed I realised that I actually liked the phone, and it would be hard to know what else to get. And pink? Matches my pink TV and pink netbook. Plus I’m fed up with boring grey and silver. Whereas I grew to "like" it I actually "love" my little pink phone. I'm having great fun building themes, & changing its wallpapers. The 1812 Overture announces calls, and Doctor Who brings my messages! At the moment.

What a relief
Sitting on solid chairs was agony for my back and hips. Then after a fall I was housebound. But I was due to take an important part in a Church Service. With this Cushion I sat in comfort & forgot about my pains.
The donut is a very simple design, I'm quite heavy, but that was not a problem. It's not something I'd use every day, so I can't answer for the long term. But I can see it lasting for a while.

How many bobbins?
Neat container, and in some ways a likeable product.
But first of all you must be aware that if you use the standard metal bobbin [size 15 with holes all round] it will only take 25, not 30. So they don't fit as snuggly as I'd hoped. It has no lid, so you can't just throw it into your work basket and trust the bobbins won't fall out.
It has a hole in it so you can hang it on the wall if you wish. Why would you?
Big advantage - it isn't going to break if you drop it or tread on it.
