About
I am not selling for a living. I only sell items I ve owned, and no longer need. I am no longer repairing musical instruments as "The Guitar Medic" in central Indiana, but am still a collector of vintage guitars, and guitars that I just like. I have begun downsizing my collection as of 2023, and currently have none for sale.

Nice knife
1 of 1 found this helpful Just want you would expect from a quality knife manufacturer like Buck. No evidence of short cuts in quality or use of cheap materials that are found in non-domestic knives.

Good quality as you would expect from Cuisinart
I am pleased with this purchase. The price was pretty exceptional and the quality of the product is great. I wish that the seller of the product would make it easy to find the matching lids. Lids are important for some kinds of cooking (things that spatter). But I have had difficulty finding any. But that is my own problem and has nothing to do with this set specifically, so that's all I'll say about that subject. As with all aluminum cookware, there are special guidelines you must follow to keep these skillets in good condition. First and foremost, don't overheat them. Aluminum has a tendency for the metal to warp at high heats, and it actually will go back to its shape, but doing this several times over a period of time will cause it to warp and it won't EVER go back. If you've owned aluminum cookware before, you may notice that some skillets or pans had a tendency to now "rock" when you place them on the burner. This is because they've been allowed to get too hot several times, or because while they were still hot, someone ran them under water. Don't do these things: Don't turn on a the burner and walk away to "allow the skillet to heat up". These skillets have an extra thick bottom--causing heat to not only rise up quickly, but also results in even heat. Heating them up causes all kinds of problems. It weakens the bond between the enamel coating, and between the non-stick coating and the metal. It also causes permanent 'browning' of the non-stick coating and may result in it not resisting sticking any longer. If sprayed with cooking spray, then heated without something in it, the cooking spray can adhere to the non-stick surface, and be impossible to remove without damaging the non-stick coating. So turn the heat on, then begin putting food in the skillet--do not wait for it to 'heat up'. Secondly, don't wash them in a dishwasher. Hand wash only with a mild dishwashing soap. Despite what manufacturers will tell you, dishwashing soap contains caustics and chemicals that get things very clean, yes, but they also are aggressive to aluminum. After just a few washings, the beautiful enamel color will dull, and any exposed aluminum will show signs of deterioration. If you don't want to take my word for this, and prefer to go with the manufacturers "dishwasher safe" advertising, then go for it. But I promise you this: you will remember what I said after about the 3rd or 4th washing in the dishwasher. So summary: I don't like that I have to hand wash my cookware. But it is an inevitable fact that it is necessary to get any kind of expected life out of your cookware. If you are looking for good cookware that is durable, and VERY RUGGEDLY MADE, I recommend this set and will state with the utmost confidence, that you will NOT be disappointed.

Great All-Around Strings
I purchase these for customers. I charge my own price--which makes me competitive when I can buy these for $12 per 3-pack. Most shops sell these for anywhere from $5.65 to $9.99, but I re-sell them for my cost, and all of my customers agree that this is a great deal--they are getting a highly-preferred string set basically at cost. I find that 99% of my electric guitar customers prefer the EB Regular Slinky strings. I am NOT a dealer for these. I am a dealer for other brands, but have given up pushing those brands, because I can acquire this much more popular string at a lower cost--passing that savings along to my customers. It is a WIN-WIN!!!
