About us
Hi! I'm Cheryl, owner of VintageVibes5. Grew up in the 70s & 80s with disco, alternative music, and R&B. My family was heavily influenced by music, especially gospel. My mom, dad and brothers were in our own gospel group. We all sang & played instruments; keyboard, bass, trumpet, clarinet & sax. My mom had a beautiful alto voice. Dad had lots of different groups for over 40 years. Still recall jam sessions thumping in my house, dad playing 8-track stereo in our family room & belting out tunes. He cut several records & CDs back in the day & even wrote several songs that became hymns. Due to my background & heavy influence in this era, it led me to eventually create VintageVibes5, homage to my 5 decades- 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, & 2000s. As a retired Speech-language Pathologist, I also seek out items that can enhance learning & language skills. My shop is a mix of these items, both past & present representing what brings JOY to me & to others. Hope you find some JOY today!
