Fantastic value HDD for portable enclosures! Fast and quiet!
I purchased this product as my WD My Book was on it's last leg and I could tell it was about to die and wanted to try a smaller form factor than the traditional 3.5" external drives. Coupled with a Oyen Digital Mini Pro, this little beast is quicker than the old My Book I had (both running at 5400 RPM). This drive is getting me a throughput of ~75MB/s connected through Firewire- Thunderbolt adapter for my rMBP and is almost 25MB/s faster than my old WD My Book! Overall, very satisfied and would purchase again.
