Leica M3 Film Camera Body High Serial Number Sherry Krauter CLA
09 June 2016
Leica M3
The Leica M3 is a standard for rangefinder cameras. Excellent reviews can be found on the Internet, and there are different opinions about the Double stroke (DS) and Single stroke SS) [these terms refer to the film advance lever]. The most important criterion for any camera is the condition, and if the camera has been CLAed (Clean, Lubricated, and Adjusted) by a reputed service person. Keep in mind that a poorly done CLA is worse than no CLA. Like most highly regarded cameras, Leica makes all their cameras backward compatible, and the M3 can use the latest lenses from Leica; there are other companies that make compatible (and less expensive) lenses for the M3. Some limitations exist with the M3, e.g., the viewfinder is geared for three types of framelines (hence the 3 in M3); a separate viewfinder can be purchased if a 35mm lens is used.

Jobo 1510 1-Reel Film Processing Tank w/ Lid & Core. MINTY! (V3599)
31 December 2016
Jobo 1510 Film Processing Tank
This Jobo 1510 tank is for processing one (1) 35mm film spiral (24 or 36 exp), and is excellent for that purpose in terms of handling, and changing (pouring in & draining out) chemicals. The tank material is strong plastic, and enables the user to lightly tap (on a soft surface, e.g., a stiff roll of cloth) the tank during inversions to dislodge bubbles inside the tank. A good feature is the capability to use stainless steel (SS) film spirals and/or the Jobo plastic spiral that comes with this tank. The volumes of chemicals required for inversion or rotation methods are printed on the tank - the printing seems to last for a long time. Another good feature is modularity of the Jobo tanks: this 1510 tank can be combined with the appropriate Jobo extension tank (see Jobo literature) to process more than a single film spiral. In actual practice, there is a small leakage (the outside tank surfaces feel wet) during the inversion process, but is negligible; a cloth can be used to wipe the tank dry. Note that the SS spirals that can be used with this tank (on the center plastic core) have to be Jobo compatible (they have a larger diameter center hole; Hewes from UK makes such compatible spirals). There is a also a SS center square rod for the 1510 tank that can be used with the regular SS spirals that have a smaller center hole but is difficult to obtain/find; different lengths for different Jobo tanks. When not in use, it is recommended to keep the components unattached/not assembled to prevent relaxation of the plastic & rubber components. A good practice is to keep components of one tank together, and not interchange/mix with other 1510 tanks - this is a user preference, and the components are fully interchangeable with other 1510 tanks. Finally, as with any tank of any material or maker, this tank needs to be handled with care (don't drop, impact, handle roughly, etc.) to prevent leaks (light and/or chemicals).
VTG NOS PARKER FROST SEKI JAPAN FOLDING POCKET KNIFE TOBACCO PIPE TAMPER TOOL A1

Parker Seki Folding Pipe Tamper Tool
Excellent product at this price, and recommended. Would prefer the SHAPE to be straight without the widened part at one end. The tool fixtures are fixed well and high quality, and the entire assembly fits in the hand and pocket perfectly. The entire tool is strong, and will withstand many years of use.
