You need to glue the two halves together but then it is a beauty; great value too.
As a mouse pad with a gaming mouse, big triple screen set-up and fast movement it works just great, which is more than I can say for dedicated gaming gel pads costing twice as much. This is about the cloth texture more than anything else. I have given it a good flogging for over a month now and the only issue was the frequency the stupid system used to clip the gel pad to the mouse pad came apart. Totally over that within a few days so joined them with cloth tape underneath and glued it with contact cement - bit of black texta to hide where it oozed through and I didn't clean quick enough. No drama since and can drag it around, even over the desk edge a bit, and it just works. Somewhat surprisingly, the smaller size of this mat over previous larger but poorer performing units from Razer and Corsair has been no issue at all, despite having 1.5m of screen to travel.

Great speakers, auto power off a nuisance...
Great PC speakers. Like REALLY GOOD. Bit of a nuisance that it auto-powers off after no sound for a while and doesn't auto power on when there is, so you need the controller to be close by. No way to change this behaviour, it seems. If I had known that I would have bought something else. You now do! My old PC 5.1 was on 24/7 and lasted 16 years, dunno why a modern one has to do this; to make sure it outlasts the warranty I guess.
