Worth it!
Rogue Squadron 3D still holds up almost ten years after its release. Good graphics, excellent gameplay, and a continuity based plot make this game a heck of a lot of fun. Medals are awarded for good performance on missions. There are plenty of air-to-ground and dogfighting opportunities, however battles are almost completely planet based, with no space combat at all. This keeps the "flying" in two dimensions, which I find easier. It's a game I return to again and again after growing bored with others.
