Really good part. Defo recommend if you need it. Fitted to a 2012 Passat.
Well made part, perfect fit. A lot safer and cheaper and environmentally cleaner than degassing the air con. The compressor shaft I had still had a good amount of splines left which was lucky but the new part splines were of a good depth to account for the wear. A tip is to put a dab of stud/thread lock on the centre bolt into the compressor shaft so it should help to stop a repeat of the issue. Would defo recommend the part. I cannot see why this part isn’t at the motor parts shops yet!
