Great CD
1 of 2 found this helpful This CD is simply excellent. It put Seattle on the music scene before other bands like Nirvana & Soundgarden. Andy Wood was a master - a beautiful voice
that, like other musical geneiuses, died before his time. The remaining members
of the band knew that without Andy Wood, Mother Love Bone could not continue - although their musical presence continued in other bands as grunge bacame cool.
This CD represents the full range of Mother Love Bone's potential - it is a fitting testimony of what was, and what could have been had Andy not been taken away so soon. I personally own over 850 CD's - but this CD is my overall favorite - it runs the range from beautiful melodies to gut wrenching guitar riffs - all with one of the best voices to ever be put to music. I would rate it a ten on a scale of one to five. Owning this CD is owning a small piece of rock n' roll history. Andy and the boys were had so much potential ... we are all left to wonder what could have been - and to enjoy what was. No musical collection is complete without this CD.
