What a Job.
Apart from the shape, I was attracted to the internal cable routing and choose this bar as it had cable stubs already within to help guide what I envisioned would be challenging. However, those stubs are made of amazingly crappy fragile plastic and fall apart before they've done their job. The resulting cable routing challenge was just as nightmarish as I was trying to avoid dealing with, taking hours to fish cables through. Have yet to ride the bike, but otherwise the bars seem fine.

Tough Case - Awful Latches
As everyone knows, the Pelican cases are extremely protective. But, in my opinion, they accomplish that by being heavy chunks of plastic with a few clumsy design choices. The worst of it are the latches, which are very annoyingly loud. Thwack! Thwack! Sure, Pelican doesn't want them to come open, but my god they're noisy. Quelling the noise takes a lot of filing, which is hard to do. I own 5 of these cases, and I remove the latches to file them, reducing the noise considerably. But, this is no walk in the park, as the retaining rods are knurled on one end. If you push them through the wrong way, you'll have quite a time of it. I've contacted Pelican about the problem, and they can only send new latches, which aren't the issue. It's the design that's defective, not the latch itself. Note also that cases within a model number only stack upon each other if they're from the same generation. They changed the position of the feet and stops, making old and newer ones unstackable.
