Wico X coil review
My 80 year old John Deere now runs and starts like a new one.
I had to file the hole in the center larger to fit my armature. Other than that I am very happy with the coil.

Review of Homelite 925
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought one new in the 70's. Cut wood with it for a living for several winters, cleared land for two winters,has helped keep a small saw mill supplied for 40 years. Has cut well over 1000 cords of wood. Cuts my fire wood and saw logs now. A very reliable saw, I replaced the muffler cover, fuel line and clutch, keep those clutch bolts tight! They will come out and make a hole in the cover! Always starts and runs good. Use 32:1 quality oil mix. After hard use will boil gas out of tank, open cap slowly. If fuel mixture will not stay set watch carb while running, it may be leaking gas into the airstream. I have tried other saws, many are lighter and quieter, but I always come back to the 925 for its power and reliability. I like it so much I bought another. Old School Logger
