Great reference for novice collectors
This edition is a very good introduction to California pottery for the novice collector. The author took great care to cover many individual potters and provided clear photographs of signed pieces to identify. This is an older edition but is a good place for a novice to start researching identifying markers on California pottery while on a budget. If you are a person combing thrift stores and flea markets for vintage pieces, this book is a great reference starting point.
