Great heavy duty dog tag.
The picture doesn't do it justice. The detail of the feathers are amazing as is the quality of the paint. I figured the chain would be a cheap 'throw-away', but instead it comes with a high quality bright silver ball chain whose color complements the brightwork of the eagle and edge trim. Da Komrade, get one today!

Excellent Mig-3 documentation source
This is a typical Osprey book that is loaded with details and excellent photographs. Osprey is good at gathering historical data (and in this case, rather obscure and hard to find) information and presents it in a highly readable form without being bogged down in unnecessary detail. Highly recommended for all Russian aviation historians.

The perfect finishing touch
I wanted something to accent my home built electric balalaika. What not a better finishing touch than these red stars? These things gave it the ideal Soviet-era look I was seeking. The fret marker stars were of various sizes and fit the fret spacing perfectly on a 25 inch scale length guitar neck. The included instructions were easy to understand. The transfer material is VERY thin, but grabbed the fret board tenaciously... even the star points. I applied them to a walnut neck I had finished with a product made for gun stocks, but is similar to tung oil. Gently rubbing the edges showed no signs of lifting, so I expect they will last a long time. A happy customer.
