Kato makes very nice trains.
This is a very nice Santa Fe El Capitan 10 car set from Kato. As to it being durable or entertaining? N Scale trains are not very durable. I mean, they are very small models of the real thing and are delicate. Are they entertaining? If you are into model trains, then I would say yes! But all in all, Kato makes very accurate model trains at an affordable price. Lastly, this set I bought was released in 2012 and it is in excellent condition.
