Atmospheric and enthralling drama.
One of Hollywood's gems. This dramatic portrayal of a true story is excellent and highly recommended. Chris Plummer's performance is superb and I don't think anyone else could have done it better. Ten out of ten.

Dramatic true story that will unease the viewer.
The Widower is a true story and the Brits have done it again with great acting and great script and overall excellent drama. The creepiest thing about this guy is that he is so "nice" and unassuming although there are signs that he is "not quite right". There are surprises and you are never quite sure what he's going to do next.....but no surprise that the law catches up with him in the end.

Great script, acting and comedy.
A light hearted romantic comedy that is suitable entertainment for teenagers and adults alike. The actors are superb and bring off the comedy very well because they all seem to be having fun (which is the secret of good comedians) and I can't help loving the slimy weasel who is doing his best to wheedle his way into marriage with Bernadette. He just cracks me up. Romance for the three girls is sweet and at times a little naughty but what I like is that each focuses on the friendship with their boyfriends ..... except for one who tries to grow up a little too fast.
