3rd release by band
Mona's 3rd full length album is solid but short clocking in at about 30 mins. While not nearly as strong as their debut, they still have a knack for writing catchy songs. If you liked Mona's 1st & 2nd releases, there's no reason to pass on this one. I'll give it a 3.5 stars out of 5. - Rich McL.

21st Century Psych at its best!
Steve Kilby from the Australian band The Church, teams up with Martin Kennedy to produce 48 minutes of 21st century psychedelic bliss.
Floating, dreamy soundscapes and concise lyrics, make this an outstanding release. Imagine Pink Floyd - circa Dark Side of the Moon - meets The Church and you'll get the idea.

Lost in translation
While the Tao Te Ching is an ancient text written to encourage enlightenment, Chad Hansen's Chinese to English translation leaves a lot to be desired. What should come off as deep/meaningful passages require multiple readings to attempt to understand what's being said. On several occasions I looked these chapters up online to get a very different meaning of what was being implied.
So while the book is full of beautiful photos and printed on thick stock and complete with satin covers, the words within may leave you disappointed. - Rich M.
