i would give it 5 stars but i give nothing 5 stars
The only con I have encountered is how annoying it gets. On the other hand that is what a kid learning needs.

i had a few cons
The rail does not line up with my rifle sights on the barrel. I can visually see that and I am hoping the scope will adapt. Also the hole underneath so that you can see a sight is not big enough for the rifle sights itself. I also had massive trouble mounting it on my 870 the saddles machining was a little off and I was afraid if stripping the threads but with some finess, grease, and a small rubber mallet I was able to install. So if your not handy with making solutions to minor problems, I would not get this. You get what you pay for.
