Excellent, thank you. Recently noticed this one was a gap in my 300-400 run so happy to have plugged it, and it's an excuse to dump the whole lot on the reading pile.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope (PS4) Adventure: Survival Horror

Flawed gem
I do like the dark pictures format. Graphics are good and the story of little Hope initially appears to be Silent Hill light. Spoilers ahead. Unfortunately this is let down by a very frustrating ending. Essentially these games are interactive story's that your decisions shape so this is of particular importance. Whilst said ending makes sense in context it undermines the efforts you put in over the 6 or so hours run time. This in turn removes any desire to replay the game to get a better outcome or find missing plot points. Overall worth a playthrough but leave it at that. If you haven't played any of these titles I would actually start with 'Until Dawn'
silent hill shattered memories psp

Shatterd memories
A re imagining of the classic Silent Hill game. Is it as good as the original? no not even close, but keep reading because that was one of the finest games of a generation that gave us Final Fantasy7, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and Metal Gear. A tough act to follow indeed. So what we have here is more of a Prototype of the Dark Anthology Until Dawn style of game. The graphics are very good for the age and limitations of the psp. We start of on the psychotherapist's couch where we will return every so often to be profiled by the game. Your answers and deeds will effect the look of the game and key events/ending. The biggest departure is no combat or inventory. Like in until dawn you wander around and trigger events and conversations occasionally getting to make decisions. There is a set piece chase section once per 'level' where the world ices up (no rusty other world here) and you have to escape. Options here are run with occasional interactions such as hide or pull over an obstacle or use a flare (the only none collectable or key you can actually use). I did enjoy this game but I'd rather they just remade the classic with better graphics.
