It trips inner breakers if they're also tied.
I used it on a breaker set that has Siemens-provided inner tie and this outside tie catches on the inner tie, turning off both 220V circuits when tripped. I was able to get it to work by not sliding it down the breaker handles very far.
An inspector would not approve it if they saw it.
The product solves a niche problem (Siemens doesn't sell it) and I'm glad it's available. It just needs to be reworked (arched bridge over the inner tie?) so the product doesn't interfere with the inner tie.
