Very happy with unit for my off-road eMTB usage.
Having just bought an eMTB I wanted a GPS unit that works for me with off-road trails.
Initially I purchased a Hammerhead Karoo2 which is a very nice unit but is far better for road use so I returned and replaced with this Garmin 830 unit.
The integration with Trailforks maps being built in means that the off-road trails being shown are far more complete (and actually useful!)
Also, the Karoo 2 would always update my eMTB ride to Strava as a non-electric ride (messing up leaderboards and getting me into "trouble") while the Garmin does that correctly.
Apart from that, it integrates well with my Shimano motor so overall I'm very happy with this unit.

Very comfortable. A worthy upgrade
Good quality grips.
I use them on my eMTB and find my wrists are a lot less sore at the end of a rough ride.
