Ouch - The ins and out of you
This is one of the best anatomy books for children around. The photographs, illustrations and descriptions open the mind to further knowledge seeking by children of all ages. This is why I purchased it for my two who are 5 1/2 and 7.
For the younger child some of the vocabulary may need some help but who can turn down the chapter on why you puke? Or what a bee sting looks like from the inside? My son found it interesting to read about what may trigger his asthma and how his lungs work. My daughter is interested in all things medicine so has spent many days pouring over it and reciting bits and pieces of information to me about the book. I love it!
This book will last for some time and be good for more than one read. It will be one to come back to again and again. Not just the kids, but parents as well as it is very informative. Children may even like to use it as a reference in school reports at some point as it is accurate and useful.
Other versions of this book include a CD, mine did not, so I cannot comment.

Good idea but doesn't work as expected
Based on previous reviews I was eager to try this having 2 long haired kids and 2 long haired dogs.
The SinkShroom fit in the drain nicely and we were excited to see it work. After a couple months of use we are not thrilled by the product. Not only did it not catch the hair but entangled it more in the drain causing more of an issue.
Price is right and quality of the item is good but hopefully they can work on this concept further and get it to work as intended.

Interactive, entertaining and graphically wonderful - for for all!

Bought this game for my 8 1/2 yo autistic daughter as she likes other Kirby games.
The graphics are phenomenal to begin with and the interaction with the other character who can be your game buddy (Prince Fluff) is wonderful.
It does take some getting used to the controls and interactive features on some levels but it adds fun and imagination to the game. Going behind the scenes can be tricky but it gets you into some interesting places and can occasionally be the only way to progress on some levels.
Overall it is adorable and a lot more interactive than thought possible. This game will keep the family entertained for some time to come.
We all give it a high 5!
