Hi! I'm an author and p/t book buyer and seller. :) I *love* old books especially and love hunting around antique shops searching for hidden gems. Some of these old beauties will look and small brand new, even at 150 years old. Others will hold the scent of times passed, of must and generations of hands, dust and great-grandparent's basements, lone survivors of their age, and have their share of wear. Regardless, I can promise you, that no matter what the state of the antique time capsule/book you buy from me, it has been chosen with love, respect, and care. And I thank you for being here and for keeping the old stories alive.

I ordered this book for my husband for our anniversary. In the description, it says this book looks close to new . When I received it, it had been damaged by USPS (it was packed in a padded envelope, not a box). I contacted the seller and sent pictures, but because she had included postage and the listing clearly stated no returns, she is unwilling to help. I am extremely disappointed. The seller never recommended insurance.

I am so sorry, but once it leaves my home, unless you buy insurance, there's nothing I can do. I did try to help my going to the post office and requesting help for the buyer, but they said they couldn't do anything as the buyer didn't buy ins. I'm so sorry it was damaged! :(

I bought a set of six Anne of Green Gables books for my wife as a surprise gift for her library. She was ecstatic. The books were true to the pictures included on the auction and we're in very good condition. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
