Spirited Away 2-disk Set

This is the second movie I saw by Hayao Miyazaki and I never tire of watching it. It is about a young girl who starts out caring only for herself and her interests, but over the course of the movie, she learns to consider others' needs and to appreciate what others do for her. I love the artwork and characters both and Disney did an excellent job of translating the movie to English. Even though it was originally made in Japanese, and I have little knowledge of Japan, I had no trouble understanding it. It is appropriate for all ages.

Ella Enchanted

This is a cute movie similar to the style of Enchanted or Princess Bride. It deals with themes of diversity, fitting in, and trying to be oneself and is appropriate for children of all ages. It is based on a book by the same name and while some parts are very different, I found I did not mind the changes. The setting is believable and the characters are engaging, my favorite being the elf who wants to be a lawyer.

Not perfect, but meets my needs well

I like that it's adjustable and that I can tilt it when, say, I'm watching a movie. It is wide enough for my large laptop and I have had no problems with my laptop overheating. I have not used the mouse tray yet, so I cannot say how sturdy that is. My one criticism is that it is tricky to adjust evenly and at greater heights it is unstable, but as a lap desk that is always the same height, it's perfect.
