A Lot for your Money
I have always avoided acer laptops in the past due to their suspect build quality which was highlighted by the way the screen was uncomfortably flexable and the keyboard which you expected to eject its keys at the slightest touch but i was informed that they recently beefed up their construction enough for me to take a second look.
They have indeed improved there build quality and the screens no longer wobble when moved and although the keyboard is still a little flimsy its sturdier than it used to be.
The redeeming feature of acer laptops has always been the great value for money spec that they put into their machines and this one is no exception with the high end duel processor and the good graphics card its a good machine.
A couple of grips (which may be minor or not depending on your view) only 2gb of was installed and with vista being the operating system it was never enough and while on the subject of the OS it was Vista ultimate but only the 32bit version not the 64bit version which this laptop deserved.
But grips aside the main thing is it is excellent value for money and although not up to the build quality of some laptop makers the way that laptop are out of date by the time they are six months old does it really matter.

I hated it
I would rather shoot my own foot off rather than watch this rubbish but I bought for my wife and she loved so it was money well spent
