Divine Mature Smell!
3 of 3 found this helpful Being a massive Madonna fan I was excited to smell her first fragrance. The only down side was I am male and as much as I love her I cannot wear a female scent! Lol. When I read her inspiration for the fragrance she explained the scent choices. Madonna's mother died when she was five years old. I loss I cannot imagine. Being so young she has a few main sensory memories. She said her mother loved gardenia flowers and when she closed her eyes that smell brings back memories. I am lucky to have my mother still full of life and with me everyday. When I smelt the fragrance for the first time I closed my eyes and bizarrely my mothers image came straight to mind. I knew it was a must have.
Madonna worked very closely with the perfumer to create the composition of white flowers on an intensive gourmand background. The scent is both a light and dark, opening with notes of gardenia, creamy tuberose and neroli. The heart consists of jasmine, benzoin and white lily, based on vanilla absolute, caramelized amber and sensual musk.
I purchased the fragrance for my mother and my senses were 100% correct and she loves it. It's now a scent she wears daily and receives many compliments from people about how lovely she smells. Being such amazing value also I was affordinly able to purchase her two of the gift sets so she has the large bottle of EDP, the body lotion and shower cream. A must have for any classy lady.
