Roco 33209 Feldbahn Leo Diesel Locomotive III HOe

Good Value Narrow Gauge Loco
Great value narrow gauge loco that can look very much at home in UK industrial surroundings Not DCC ready but could be adapted using a directly soldered decoder which could just squeeze in above the gearbox - Although I run Leo on a narrow gauge track section controlled by an electronic shuttle circuit. The only downside for me was absence of working lamps. It was a relatively easy task to adapt the loco to fit an LED in the front headlamp, but insufficient room to do this for the rear lamp.

A corded Shark is hard to beat
Love it. Strong suction. Does a great job. Losing the separate brush switch is an improvement. If I'm really picky the dust collection box is somewhat smaller than our previous Shark.
LARGE HARDBACK BOOK THE WORLD OF ROBOTS BY BRIAN MORRIS

Vintage technology yes, but still a great read
Whilst I'm still working through the chapter about the history of robots, this 1985 vintage edition is proving to be more than just an interesting reference work, but a quite compelling read complemented by lots of great illustrations. Still relevant for anyone who, like me, is fascinated by the evolution of robots and "mobile computers".
