A Fighter Who Never Quits!

I feel this was a redemption film to end the series right. It's predecessor, didn't cut it in my honest opinion with Rocky V. Rocky Balboa to me was a nice way to wrap up Rocky's past and how we now see Mr. Balboa in the present time, someone who has moved on, a restaurant owner, in the neighborhood just living his life. Some excellent flashback scenes, reminiscing moments of his past and the interaction of past people in his life. I am happy to include this in my collection of dramatic films that have meaning and that focus on the real life moments of everyday life and the reality of life in general.

A poignant depiction of The Christ!

I absolutely LOVED the depiction in this adaptation of the life and crucifixion of Jesus Christ! I felt that the actor portraying Jesus was spot on in the image of what Jesus would have looked like. There was no mistaking when in the presence of the other actors, which one was Jesus. This is a film and not word for word of the Holy Scriptures but what was portrayed on screen was at times very raw, highly emotional and deeply felt. I felt the score from Hans Zimmer was spectacular! The piece entitled "Faith" which played from the moment Jesus took on His cross to the point He'd been elevated was beyond words! It was at that point emotions took over very strongly and heartfelt tears streamed down my face. I highly recommend this film as a glimpse of appreciating just what the Lord and Savior of the whole world did for all of us sinners in order to Save us, followed by reading the Word and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives!
