Made in China, lacking flavor, color and texture

This is not the same as the original Broadway Rolls also known as Delfa Rolls or Danish Ribbons. These are made in China for the Gerrit J. Verburg Company. They are lacking in flavor, color and have a soft chewy texture with an oily residue. They are not worth eating for the enjoyment of this old time confectionery treat. Maybe if you have never tried the original Broadway Rolls, you might like them. If you know what Broadway Rolls or Danish Ribbons were like back in the 1980's and you liked them, you will be disappointed with this version.
