We had a great experience. Our first shipment was lost by USPS. I reached out to the Seller and he immediately tried to help me locate the package. When it became clear that the package was most likely lost, he sent us a replacement package by UPS at no cost to us. The seller was very helpful, professional and responsive to communication. We would buy from this seller again. Thank you!!!!

There's not enough room here to tell you how impressed I am with this seller. The carrier lost my package for weeks. The seller contacted the carrier but received no assistance. He kept communication open throughout the wait for the package to resurface. On his own initiative, he ensured that I would not lose out on my purchase. I have never experienced an ebay seller so committed to successfully completing a sale. Five stars doesn't do justice to his efforts. He is honorable and professional.

Not like James Bond
Alan Furst is a master of espionage thrillers that take place in the tumultuous Europe of the 1930s and '40s. "The Polish Officer" is one of his best, following the story of a military man whose life is turned upside down by the German invasion of Poland. For most Americans, World War II begins with Pearl Harbor and focuses on things like the invasion of Normandy. Furst reveals the conflicts and intrigues that gripped Europe at the lowest individual level. The historic atmosphere he creates is raw and startingly authentic, as characters grapple with the mundane and the momentous all at once. This is not flamboyant spycraft a la Flemming's James Bond, but it also has a different flavor than Le Carre. Even Furst's minor characters are wholly intriguing and authentic (and you'll find them crop up again and again as you read more of his books). "The Polish Officer" is one of Furst's best and will likely hook you into his world of mostly ordinary people caught up in extraordinary times.

Lord of War -- very dark humor for the modern age
This movie is perhaps the best example of Nicolas Cage's ability to do deadpan black humor. Cage plays a Ukrainian immigrant to the U.S. who becomes a high-stakes international gun trader. The movie raises all sorts of questions about the morality or lack thereof in arm sales but it also points the correct finger at governments rather than the individual dealers. Politics and your position on guns aside, the movie is very entertaining as you watch Cage coldly learn arms dealing one deal at a time and narrowly escape arrest or death in deal after deal. Beyond guns and international intrigue, the movie has plenty to offer on just the concept of how fixation on business takes a toll on family. And if you really don't care about any of that, you can just sit back and be entertained by such scenes as watching African locals completely dismantle and carry off an entire Soviet-era cargo plane in a matter of hours but condensed by time-lapse photography to minutes.

A fun look at what gave birth to Bond, James Bond
If you are a fan of Ian Fleming's James Bond then you'll find this movie quite entertaining. It tries to portray the real life of the author to be as exciting as the fictional spy he created. The movie is filled with references to characters and phrases that would become synonymous with James Bond. You'll meet the inspirations for "Q" the gadget maker, "M" the intelligence chief, Miss Moneypenney the secretary, Blofeld the villain and the source of the vodka martini (shaken, not stirred). As an added touch, the role of Ian Fleming is played by Jason Connery, son of Sean Connery, the first film Bond. There are plenty of places where the film embellishes the facts for dramatic license, and it does have that made-for-TV movie feel, which it originally was, but it's all great fun and a must see if you like James Bond.
