Vantage Vue Review

The outdoor unit is attractive, appears to be well made and is very functional. The indoor console however has some issues. First the good. The button layout is intuitive and easy to use. However the screen is angled at a fixed position which does not necessarily fit everyone's viewing angle. I have had to prop mine up at the back to get the proper angle. The biggest negative for me is the quality of the screen. It's definitely old technology. Daytime back-lighting is mediocre and the night time lighting is an unattractive orange. The arrangement of information on the screen could definitely use a make-over. If this unit had a higher resolution LCD color screen with some user select display options it would definitely be 5 stars.
