Great LCD and Nice Price
Ah, the old Dell Inspiron 1525 not as big as the 1545 but a nice laptop and mine needed a new LCD and this was just perfect. Fit right in the 1525 lid and when I hit the on button it came to life with no flickering like the old LCD! Good product and a great price.

Great Microphone
My old Dell Inspiron 300m ( Latitude X300 ) doesn't have an internal microphone and these were just perfect! Great price, fast shipping, and work great!

Nice Notebook if the price is right__otherwise a Chromebook is a better.
0 of 1 found this helpful This is a very nice "Notebook" computer with a dual core but you shouldn't expect blazing speed performance compared to todays Notebooks, Laptops, and Tablets with QuadCore processors and highly advanced video chips. The motherboard is very small but this is the result of VLSIC Very Large Scale Intergrated Circuits where circuit board systems have been placed on a silicon wafer instead of the circuit board and most of the space inside the base is taken up by the battery and that is why this Notebook is not a lightweight. This is definitely a step up from the Samsung Latitude X300( Insprion 300m ) but not much. The LED LCD and the Mother Board drawing way too much power from that rather large battery where you'd expect at least 10 hours from the battery you are lucky if you get two hours. And, as per Notebook design, there is no External USB Drive? Why didn't Dell make a USB Drive especially for the Latitude 13( Vostro V13 ) in the same classy aluminum housing theme? And, there is no Media Docking station like the X300, D430, XT2, ect... and that big battery is expensive to replace whereas the X300, D430, XT2 knockoffs are in the $20 range the V13 L13 is about $50 and you have to take the notebook apart to replace the battery.
Overall if you can find a complete L13 or V13 for about $150 with 4GB of Ram, a good battery, and Windows 7 and if you want this type of notebook then this is the computer for you. But, if you want something faster and more modern you might be better off buying a 10.1" QuadCore Tablet and using the money you saved on coffee. Me? I like the old SS Blue Box with the ULV Pentium 4 clicking at 1.2GHz: the Dell Inspiron 300m or the Silver Lat X300. If only I could put a QuadCore CPU, a modern Graphics Chipset and DDR3 ram in that blue box I'd make a Billion selling them for about $300.
